LINCOLN, Neb. (Duhawks.com) - A trip west to Nebraska Wesleyan resulted in a split decision for the Loras swimming and diving teams, as the Duhawks won on the women's side won 110-78 and the men's team lost 144-60.

NOTABLES
-Freshman phenom Sarah Shafer continued her dominant start to her collegiate career, winning the 50 free (25.30) and 100 free (56.01) and a second place finish as part of the 800 free relay (9:07.49) ... Shafer's times in the 50 and 100 free were season-bests
-Loras opened the meet with a win in the women's 200 medley relay with a time of 2:03.67 and a team of junior Kasey Jacobson, senior Kim Breaux, junior Natalie Shannon and freshman Cat Edahl
-Junior Kaitlyn LaGrange won the women's 1000 free with a time of 11:54.21
-Senior Ike Casey swam 21.29 in the men's 50 free, winning by 1.62 seconds over the runner-up
-In the women's 200 IM, Jacobson and Edahl finished 1-2 with times of 2:30.39 and 2:48.06, respectively
-Breaux won the womne's 100 flyer with a season-best time of 1:03.00
-Jacobson added a second victory, winning the 500 free with her time of 6:03.18
