WINONA, Minn. (Duhawks.com) - For the first time under head coach Chad Fenwick, the Loras women's tennis team claimed victory at the Iowa Conference Team Tournament, advancing past third-seeded Dubuque on Friday, 5-2. The win marks the first victory for the Duhawks in the postseason since 2003 when Loras secured a fifth-place finish with wins in the consolation bracket.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Out of the gates, Loras took a crucial 2-1 lead in doubles play, winning at No. 2 and No. 3. Sophomore Emma Cooke and junior Ayla Graziano defeated Dubuque's Naomi Amani and Megan Ranney, 8-2. At No. 3, freshman McKenna Craff and sophomore Rachael Molidor defeated Mariah Scott and A. Palacrios Quinones, 8-5.
