DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras baseball team (13-22, 6-14 IIAC) dropped the final game in the three game series on Sunday afternoon to Dubuque, 5-4. Sophomore
Jake Oglesby went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.

- Loras jumped on the scoreboard in the top of the first thanks to an RBI infield single from sophomore Jake Oglesby that brought home senior Luke Leibforth.Â
- The Spartans answered with a run of their own in the second inning on a fielder's choice that knotted the game at one.Â
- Sophomore Austin Konagel took advantage of a Spartan wild pitch to reach home safely and give Loras the lead once again at 2-1.Â
- Dubuque struck for three runs on three hits in the seventh to take their first lead of the game at 4-2.Â
- In the next half inning, Loras loaded the bases and plated a pair of runs after a fielder's choice coupled with an RBI single by senior Thomas Johnson.Â
- Loras was sent down in order in the ninth and the Spartans broke through with a walk-off single to sweep the weekend series.
