WAVERLY, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's tennis team dropped to 1-2 in conference play this season after a 6-3 loss to Wartburg on Tuesday.

- Freshman Francesca Roche improved to 2-1 with her first win at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2
- The tandem of Roche and freshman Erin McGivern earned a hard-fought victory at No. 3 doubles, 8-6
- Junior Emma Cooke suffered her first loss of the season after moving up to No. 2 singles
- Freshman Audrey Hinz' five-match winning streak was snapped after retiring due to injury in the third set at No. 1
- After winning two of three in doubles play, Loras improved its team record to 13-5 and are led by the duo of Cooke and freshman Bri Eighme who are 4-1
