DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - For the third time this season, the Loras women's soccer team put up a four-spot on an opponent, with Tuesday's victim being Augustana. Junior Elizabeth Mills netted her second career brace, recording her fourth and fifth goals of the season.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
-Less than 10 minutes after scoring the opening goal, the Duhawks nearly doubled its lead on a long shot from senior Gretchen Schutz that pinger off the post
-Out of the halftime break, senior Maura Walsh tallied her third of the season after Schutz delivered a low-cross that all Walsh had to do was tap in for the goal
-Mills secured the brace on a 1v1 after freshman Brynn Jacobi combined with Walsh in the midfield to send Mills out wide all alone and she slotted it past the diving keeper
-With time ticking down, Loras added its fourth goal of night and 20th of the season off a corner kick as sophomores Grace Ross and Genna Sobieszczyk connected for the first points of each of their seasons

The St. Ignatius Prep added the insurance goal early in the second half to quell the chances of a comeback for Augustana on Tuesday. Later, Walsh collected her second assist of the season and ninth of her career on Mills' second goal of the night.

The Duhawks open conference play on Saturday under the lights against their crosstown rivals, Dubuque. In the last 10 meetings, Loras is 9-1-0. The Spartans enter with a 2-3-1 record and are riding a three-match winless streak (0-2-1). Kickoff from inside the Rock Bowl is scheduled for 5 p.m.
