Late Goal Sinks No. 15 Men's Soccer

ELMHURST, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - The No. 15 Loras men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 defeat on Wednesday night at Elmhurst as the Bluejays scored the winner in the 90th minute. Senior Spencer Moore tallied his first goal of the year in the sixth minute on an assist from senior Ike Bruns.

Spencer Moore tallied his first goal of the season on Wednesday, running his season point total to three and his career total to 35. Moore's play throughout the game created offensive chances for the Duhawks, although it did not result in an additional goal.

The Duhawks return to the Rock Bowl for the conference opener against their crosstown rivals, Dubuque. In their last 10 meetings, Loras is 9-1 and are 20-1 all-time.
