KEYS TO THE GAME
Through four games the Prairie Wolves have conceded an average of 40 points per game, but have yet to claim an interception. If Loras can get out to a fast start and convert on the chances that they earn in the red zone, the rest should take care of itself. In both of the Duhawks' losses this year, they struggled to take care of the football. It may not all be the responsibility of the passing game as NWU's defense allows, on average, 252.8 yards per game on the ground.
Â
WEEK FOUR RECAP
Loras put up the most points in a single game in the modern era, surpassing their 63-point mark from a win over William Penn in 1992 with 73 against Buena Vista. Several Duhawks set individual scoring records due to the effectiveness of the offense. Senior
Bob Kelly threw for 359 yards,
Ike Cloward rushed 156 yards for four touchdowns and
Mason Quigley tied program record for PAT's in a game with 10.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
In this week's NCAA Division III Statistics Update, the Duhawks were featured with three top-20 team stats and six top-20 individual stats. Junior
Walter Ollie leads all of Division III with 465 kick return yards while senior
Ike Cloward ranks fifth in both rushing touchdowns (8) and points scored (54). As a team, Loras' offense is converting third downs at a rate of 54.3 percent, which ranks seventh nationally.
KELLY'S CONSISTENCY
Senior quarterback
Bob Kelly has found his groove heading into the third conference game of the season. His efficiency has been showcased by seven touchdowns, including four against Buena Vista last week. Through his first three appearances, Kelly has limited his mistakes, committing three interceptions, an area that crippled the Duhawks in 2016. Kelly comes into week five after throwing for a career-high 359 yards against Buena Vista and totals 801 yards and a 68.1 completion percentage.
BOASTING THE LARGEST FRONT-FIVE (COURTESY OF THE TELEGRAPH HERALD)
Up front, the Duhawks are far and away the most massive line in the IIAC. Joining Cybulski on the starting O-line are fellow seniors
Zane Elliott (6-3, 270),
Mike Shanahan (6-5, 320) and
Joe Loch (6-5, 270) and junior
Ryan Heinrichs (6-4, 285). Combined, their average height is 6-5.5; their average weight is 297 pounds. That's 30 pounds on the average Iowa Conference lineman. The next biggest collective O-line group — Central College's — has an average weight of 277 pounds per player.

CLOWARD AT THE TOP OF HIS GAME
As a senior,
Ike Cloward is leaving no doubt that he owns the role as the No. 1 running back in
Jake Olsen's offensive system. In his first three years, Cloward totaled 73 carries for 257 yards in limited action. To his credit, Cloward was behind a 1,000-yard rusher as a sophomore and junior in
Zach Minch. But now that he's been given the reigns, Cloward is committed to adding his name to the list of 1,000-yard rushers in program history. The Battle Creek, Mich. native enters week five with 412 yards and eight rushing touchdowns, averaging 103 yards per game.
