DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Tuesday proved to be a fairly one-sided affair as the Loras men's soccer team cruised to its 12th conference championship in program history, winning 3-0 over Central.
Mark Broderick secured a brace to bring his season goal total to four.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• From the opening whistle, the Duhawks poured on the pressure in the final third but the Dutch goalkeeper stood tall and made two acrobatic saves in the first 15 minutes

Chris Alfaro broke the scoreless draw in the 20th minute when he delivered on a shot from the outside of his foot to the top corner
• In the 34th minute,
Alex Herrera delivered a perfect ball into the box where only Broderick could get a head to it for the two-goal advantage
• Herrera nearly had a goal of his own in the 71st minute when he clanged his offering off the side post
• Broderick delivered the knockout punch in the 86th minute, finishing a sequence that began with
Luke Denson and
Raudel Fierro before finding Broderick
