DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's volleyball team completed the weekend with a sweep of Buena Vista on Saturday afternoon, improving to 2-2 in American Rivers Conference play. Once again,
Jenna LaCorte paced the attack with 14 kills while adding 11 digs.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Unlike what happened on Friday night, there was no slow start for Loras on Saturday, as the Duhawks jumped out to a 12-5 lead ... After a 4-0 run by the Beavers made it 20-19 Loras, the Duhawks closed out the set with
Krystal Tranel at the line, ending on three consecutive attack errors by Buena Vista
• Combining the end of the first set with the beginning of the second, Loras tallied nine consecutive points, but the lead was quickly diminished after a 6-1 run by the Beavers ... The Duhawks then opened a 16-9 lead only to have it erased after Buena Vista's 12-6 run ... Tied at 22-all, LaCorte and
