CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras football team battled the rain on Saturday in a battle of 4-4 teams. After holding onto a lead for the majority of the game, Coe took a late one-point lead which proved to be the difference as the Duhawks fell 34-33.

• Following a four-minute drive,
Noah Sigwarth connected with
Trey Simmons for a quick completion and his first touchdown of the season
• After
Brandon Niemeier's interception on the Coe 34-yard line, Sigwarth ran it into the end zone for his fifth rushing touchdown of the season

Elijah Thomas for his 4th receiving touchdown of the year
• After sending the opening second half kickoff into Kohawk territory,
Danny Kamm recovered the ball,giving the Duhawks'possession on the Coe 32-yard line

Dalton Bauer with a pass yards outside the end zone but the hit by jostled the ball free and Coe took over at the five-yard line

Elijah Thomas continued his special team's dominance this season,returning the Kohawk punt 51 yards for his first career punt return touchdown
• In Loras' final drive of the game, Sigwarth was intercepted at the Kohawk 25-yard line to solidify the Coe win

• Mighell doubled his season-high for rushing touchdowns with his sixth on Saturday
• Sigwarth moved past 2,000 passing yards for the season and needs 98 rushing yards to clip 500 … The sophomore now has over 2,500 yards of total offense this year
• Thomas brought his punt return yardage to 128 and recorded his first career punt return for touchdown … The freshman also set a season-high with 14 points scored
