ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - Less than 48 hours after collecting a win against UW-Platteville and falling to Augustana, the Loras softball team flipped the script on Sunday, winning 8-3 over the Vikings while falling to the Pioneers, 2-0.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Loras vs. Augustana
- After Augustana scored three runs in the top of the first, it looked as though Sunday was shaping up to be a repeat of Friday's meeting between the two programs
- Emily Reilly settled down after the first and kept the Vikings off the scoreboard, earning her third win of the season after throwing 7.0 innings with six strikeouts
- Loras erased the deficit in the fourth inning, scoring four runs on four hits while taking advantage of one error ... With runners at second and third, Melanie Gerbig was called on to pinch hit by head coach Ashley Winter and roped a single that scored two and gave the Duhawks a 4-3 lead
- No stranger to the long ball, Ashley Lentine blasted her fourth home run of the season and 10th of her career, putting the game all but out of reach at 8-3

Loras vs. UW-Platteville
- A few hours removed from its win over Augustana, Loras' offense, which had been hot leading up to Sunday's finale, went cold against UW-Platteville
- The Pioneers scored the two runs they needed in the second inning, capitalizing on a fielding error
- Hoping to avoid the no-hitter, the Duhawks finally broke through and registered their first base hit of the game, a single by Hannah Towns ... That was all the offense Loras managed to produce, falling to 5-3 this season
