DECORAH, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras baseball team was unable to avoid the weekend sweep on Sunday, falling to Luther, 6-5, in the series finale. Trailing 6-0 after three innings, the Duhawks fought their way back, scoring five unanswered runs, highlighted by
Danny Weis' two-RBI triple in the eighth inning.

After seeing their team go down 6-0, the bullpen allowed four baserunners over the remaining seven innings, with two reaching via hit. The combined effort kept the comeback hope alive for the Duhawks, who nearly came all the way back in the late stages of the game.
