DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras softball team honored its senior class on Sunday afternoon with a split against Buena Vista, dropping the first game by a 7-6 score before taking game two in convincing fashion, 6-1.
Ashley Lentine went 5-for-6 with a home run on the day, finishing with three RBIs.

Game One
- Lentine opened the scoring with a home run in the first at-bat for an early 1-0 lead
- The clutch hitting continued for Lentine, who hit an RBI single to give the Duhawks another run and later scored off a two-RBI double from

Hannah Towns started the offense with an RBI double in the first and later scored off a fielder's choice to make it 2-0 in favor of the Purple & Gold
- The Beavers scratched away for a run in the third after an RBI double, but in the next inning, Loras made it 4-1, capitalizing on a Buena Vista error and triple by Towns
- Loras added insurance runs in the sixth thanks to an RBI double from Lentine and an RBI single from
Shannon Coyle, resulting in a 6-1 lead

- Fowler extended her hitting streak to 13 games after having three combined hits in today's doubleheader
