DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Missed opportunities and inconsistent offense plagued the Loras baseball team on Saturday, as the Duhawks dropped the final two games of the weekend series against Dubuque, 2-1 and 11-8.
Richard Bryza connected on a pair of triples while
Jake Oglesby finished 4-for-8.

- Both teams traded runs in the opening inning, Dubuque's coming via throwing error while Oglesby singled to score

- The difference came in the third inning after a one-out double for the Spartans, the go-ahead and eventual winning run would score on a two-out single through the left side
- Dubuque raced out to a 5-0 lead in game two, scoring two runs in the second and three in the third
- Loras struck for three runs in the bottom of the fourth, highlighted by a triple to the gap by Bryza that scored both
