PELLA, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras baseball team finished the final weekend of the regular season on a high note, completing the weekend sweep of Central, winning both ends of Saturday's doubleheader, 13-3 and 2-1. In game two, Loras combined for 13 hits and five extra-base hits, including a triple by
Danny Weis.

Game One

Cole Thompson kickstarted the offense early for the Duhawks with an RBI double to left-center followed by an RBI single from
Ryan Koester which gave Loras a 2-0 lead
- The Duhawks added five runs in the second with the help from a bases clearing double from
Danny Weis as well as a second RBI single from Koester
- Central earned two runs back before the Duhawks added six runs in the top half of the ninth off three consecutive extra-base hits with doubles from
Austin Konagel and Koester and a triple from Weis

- Silent until the top of the ninth, Loras scored the first run of the game from a
Luke Fennelly RBI double scoring

- Central added one of their own in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game and bring it to extras off an RBI single
- With two outs in the top of the 10th, Koester reached on an error and advanced to second on a wild pitch … After advancing to third on a single by Oglesby, a balk by the Central pitcher scored Koester
