LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's volleyball team opened its 2018 campaign on the right foot Friday night, making quick work of St. John Fisher in the opening match of the Forester Invitational.
Sarah Lewis and
Michelle Budden each totaled seven kills while
Kelly Boge added five kills and five blocks.

First Set
- Leading 6-4, the Duhawks ripped off a 13-5 run, which included five straight points with
Jenna Mazur at the service line

- St. John Fisher rebounded quickly after the first set and matched Loras point-for-point to open the second

Loras' second match of the day against Lake Forest was halted in the fourth set due to a leak in the roof. That match will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. Following the conclusion of that match, the Duhawks take on Manchester and MSOE.
