KENOSHA, Wis. (Duhawks.com) - A back and forth affair ended in favor of the visitors on Saturday night, as the Loras men's soccer team improved 3-0-0 in 2018. Chris Alfaro finished with two assists, including on the match-winner that was scored by Ezekiel Kyoore in the 100th minute.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Mark Broderick scored his first goal of the season in the 16th minute after crashing the box and sending a header to the back of the net… Thesetup began withRyan Pacholski drawing the foul in his pursuit of the ball to the near sideline … After a foul on Pacholski, Chris Alfaro delivered his set piece directly to the head of Broderick who finished for the tally 
• In the 35th minute, Carthage found the equalizer after a broken play was capitalized by Kevin Mahoney
• Before the half was through, Loras jumped back in front thanks to a goal from Connor McGarry … Josh Niloff delivered the cross into the box and after a slight touch by Manny Lopez, McGarry jumped into the mix to knock home the goal
• The Duhawks were whistled for a foul in the final third, providing a free kick opportunity for the Red Men five yards outside of the 18 … The two-man wall by Loras left an opening that Carthage took full advantage of to level the match at 2-all
• Eleven minutes later, the Red Men came close to taking the lead after an odd-man rush created a scoring opportunity, but the shot sailed high over the bar
• Carthage's best chance in extra time came in the 95th minute on a driven shot in the middle of hte pitch, but directed right at Jesse Buffington
• With time counting down in the first period of extra time, the Red Men were whistled for a foul deep in their own zone … Extra-curriculars after the whistle resulted in consecutive yellow cards and Carthage was forced to play a man down
• On the ensuing free kick, Alfaro delivered a perfect ball to a location that only Kyoore could reach and the junior struck the volley at full swing, sending it to the top corner for the winner
