DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - Josh Ruggles returned to his old self on Saturday and helped lead the Loras men's basketball team to a 106-91 victory over Central. With Ruggles' 23 points, he became the 41st member of the 1,000 Point Club at Loras.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• A 3-pointer from Central at the 14:58 mark ironically put a halt to the Dutch offense as the Duhawks responded with a 11-3 run on 4-of-5 shooting
• The final 3:40 of the first half saw Loras extend its lead after an 11-4 run
• Loras' largest lead of the game came just before the halftime break after a basket by Ruggles to make it 53-33
• Midway through the second half, the Duhawk offense continued their scorching run, this time by a 17-7 run, which included four consecutive 3-pointers by Rowan McGowen

• DiCanio moved into second all-time in school history with 341 career assists
• Demond George brought his career point total to 915 after Saturday's contest
