CLERMONT, Fla. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's softball team capped of their trip with three victories defeating Lawrence University, MCLA, and Maine-Farmington.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
LORAS 4, LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY 3
• Both teams struggled to score in the first five innings of play. Lawrence University struck first with a RBI single followed by a short stop error to push their lead to 3 in the sixth inning.

Ashley Lentine and
Lauren Fritz answered by hitting home runs to center field to close Lawrence's lead to 1.

Hadalyn Anderson brought the score even at 3-3 after hitting a double to left field to driving in
Alexandra Schmidt.
• Loras took the lead and closed the game thanks to
Noely Baumann's single to bring home
Madison Franks.
LORAS 3, NICHOLS 3
• The Duhawks struck first in the inning after
Lauren Fritz brought
Ashley Lentine home.
• Loras scored two more runs in the first inning coming by way of RBI's from
Melanie Gerbig and Anderson
• Nichols scored runs in the second and fifth innings to bring the score even at 3-3 as the game ended in a tie.
CONCORDIA WISCONSIN 9, LORAS 0
• Loras had 17 at bats, but couldn't capitalize on any efforts to get on the scoreboard.
• The Falcons defeated the Duhawks 9-0, scoring two runs in the first inning, six runs in the second inning, and one run in the fourth inning.
BENEDICTINE 3, LORAS 2
• Fritz put Loras up in the first inning after she drove in Baumann.
• Benedictine equalized after a wild pitch and took the lead 2-1 following an RBI single.
• The Duhawks put runs on the board again in the sixth inning, Lentine ran home after Anderson's single.
• Benedictine closed the game in the 8th inning after scoring.
LORAS 8, MCLA 0
• Loras found their spark early in the first inning thanks to Baumann who scored on a wild pitch and Lentine who scored by way of a pop up by
Sydney Kunkel to take the lead 2-0.
• Three Duhawks batted in runs in the second inning, Baumann, Lentine, and
Shannon Coyle.
• Loras crossed the plate three more times in the third, fourth, and fifth inning when action was halted. • • •
Madison Franks grounder in the third inning to bat Schmidt in and push Loras lead to 6-0, Lentine hit a home run to right field, and
Jade Besler batted in Anderson to close out the game.
LORAS 10, MAINE FARMINGTON 0

Lauren Fritz opened up the scoring in the first inning batting in Baumann.
• Loras tallied three RBI's in the third inning from Baumann, Coyle, and Kunkel to push their lead to 4-0
• Baumann grabbed her second RBI of the day in the fourth inning
• Loras scored two more runs in the fourth inning and stopped action.
