MONMOUTH, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's lacrosse team continued its season on Saturday, suffering a 20-14 loss to Monmouth. Clare Brunn connected on each of her six shots on goal, finishing with six goals and an assist.
 
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• Monmouth started with a goal at the 28:11 mark before Brunn matched with a goal of her own less than two minutes later
• The Fighting Scots pulled ahead, scoring three unanswered goals until Katlynne Wolf found the net for the Duhawks
• Loras' three-goal run cut the deficit to one at 6-5 with 10 minutes to go in the opening half
• Monmouth extended their lead and closed the first half up 11-7.
• Renata Veljacic and the Duhawks fought hard in the second half, with Veljacic scoring three goals

• Brunn continued her tear into the collegiate game, running her season goal total to 15
