STORM LAKE, Iowa (Duhawks.com)- The Duhawks lose both games of the doubleheader to lose the series to the Buena Vista Beavers 2-1. The Beavers hit two homeruns on the day that were the deciding factors in the games.
Dylan Pardoe led Loras in game two by going 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED

-Duhawks got started early by scoring a run off a RBI single from
Ryan Gorman.
-In the bottom of the 5th with two runners on, the Beavers took the lead after hitting a homerun to left-center field.

Danny Paluch led off the top of the 7th with a single, and later scored on a sacrifice fly by
Joe Egan.
-Buena Vista extended their lead in the bottom of the 7th on a RBI single to make the score 4-2.

-Duhawks jump out early again, and score three runs in the top of the 2nd as Pardoe singled in a run, and
Joe Egan drove in two more on a triple.
-The Beavers answer with two runs of their own in the bottom half of the 2nd after Loras loses the ball in the sun.
-Buena Vista added on in the bottom of the 4th on a 2-run homer to take a 4-3 lead.
-Loras ties the game in the top of the 8th with a runner on second and an error against the Beavers.
-Buena Vista answered in the bottom half of the 8th inning on an infield single that led to a run.

-Gorman made his first appearance of the season and went 2-for-3 with two singles and a RBI.
-Loras flashes their defense in game two, by making two diving catches in the 3rd inning.
