PELLA, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Duhawks traveled to Central College for their first mid-week series of the season. Loras started a comeback in game one, but could not score enough to tie the game and lost 10-6. The Duhawks controlled game two until the bottom of the 9th when the Dutch came back to take a victory.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED

-Central scored the first run of the ball game in the 1st inning, scoring a run on a Duhawk error.
-The Dutch added to their lead in the 2nd inning by scoring two runs.
-Central had a five run 3rd inning that was led by a couple of singles, a bases loaded walk, and an error.
-Trailing 8-0, Loras grabbed their first run of the day on a RBI single by
Austin Konagel.
-The Duhawks started to come back in the 7th as they trailed 10-1.
Robbie Agerbeek had a RBI single and
Dylan Pardoe added a sacrifice fly.
-Loras added two more runs in the 8th, but it wasn't enough to defeat Central.

-The Duhawks started game two hot by scoring two runs in the top of the 1st on a RBI single from
Cole Thompson and Agerbeek.
-Loras added two more in the 2nd on a bases loaded walk and a sacrifice fly.
-Central put a run on the board in the 5th inning to put them down 4-1.
-The Dutch had a comeback of their own, scoring two runs on a double in the bottom of the 8th.
-Trailing by one, Central started the bottom of the 9th with a solo home run to tie the game, and later won in walk off fashion on a RBI single.

-Konagel had a season high four hits in game one of the series against Central.
