DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Duhawk men's baseball team was swept by the University of Dubuque double-header on Tuesday, April 23.
Dylan Pardoe led the Duhawks with two runs.
MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Game 1: Dubuque 14, Loras 2
• Loras scored their first run in the second inning after Joe Eagan hit a single to the Spartan short stop to bat in Pardoe.
• Dubuque tallied six runs before the Duhawks grabbed their second run in the fourth inning.
• The Spartans scored three runs in the fifth inning and two in the sixth to take the first game
14-2.
Game 2: Dubuque 3, Loras 0
• Both teams remained scoreless until the fourth inning when Dubuque secured two runs off of a double to right field.
• The Spartans scored their second run in the eighth inning following a error by the Duhawk pitcher.
