DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras women's softball team dropped two conference games to Coe on Tuesday moving to 10-19-1 on the season. The Duhawks tallied two runs in today's contests.

Game 1:
Coe 3, Loras 1
• Loras struck first in the second inning thanks to
Shannon Coyle's sacrifice fly to bat in
Ashley Lentine
• Coe equalized in the third inning scoring off of a error from the catcher.
• The Duhawks held the Kohawks in the fourth until they took the lead in the fifth
• Loras couldn't add a run to force extra inning and Coe added one run to their total to win the first game 3-1.
Game 2:
Coe 5, Loras 1
• Coe opened up the scoring in the fist inning taking the 1-0 lead and held Loras.
• Loras brought the score even at 1-1 after Maddie Doubek hit a single to shortstop to bat in
Alexandra Schmidt.
• The Duhawks struggled to get on the scoreboard again as the Kohawks scored twice in the third and fifth innings to complete the sweep 5-1.
