Dubuque, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Duhawk men's soccer team earned their third victory of the season with a 1-0 win over St. Scholastica Saturday evening in the Rock Bowl. 

" We played tough but we have to capitalize on our chances," head coach Dan Rothert said.

Zeke Kyoore led Loras with three shots. 

In the 54th minute, senior forward Mark Broderick took a header from Junior forward Tigrio Huerta off of a cross and slid the ball right past the goalie to the far post. 

The goal marked Broderick's first goal of the season and thirteenth of his career. 

Loras held a 18-4 advantage in shots, including a 4-0 shots on goal. 

Loras returns to action Sunday, Sept. 8 against non-conference opponent Elmhurst. First kick is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
