Results

Jan. 11, 2020 – Hosting the final home dual meet of the 2019-20 season against Luther College on Saturday, the Loras College swim and dive team honored seniors Jennifer Young, Krystal Shannon and Alyx Nugent.

In the women's events, Sarah Shafer won the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.70) and 100 freestyle (56.84) while Young posted a win in the 100 backstroke (1:05.16) and led the relay of Nugent, Harriet Siegrist and Stephanie Hill in the 200 freestyle relay to edge the Luther A relay team by 0.39 seconds to win the event.

The men's team also saw individual victories from Zach Nelson in the 400 individual medley, swimming a time of 4:38.69. The freshman also won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:10.74.
The Duhawks were without their top male swimmer and top three female swimmers for the dual and the Norse capitalized with a 140-65 win on the men's side and 112-81 win against the women.

Loras returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Beloit College for a dual meet with events beginning at 1 P.M.
