Apr. 1, 2021 – Having the chance to compete on its home track for the first time since 2019, the No. 16 Loras College women's track and field team put on a display at the Loras Easter Midweek Meet, posting two of the nation's leading marks in the triple jump and 4-by-100-meter relay as well as four performances which landed among the top-ten best in Division III and Loras' all-time list.

Marion Edwards got things started for the Duhawks as the quartet won the race with the sixth-fastest time in Loras history (47.73) and became the national leader in the event. Black capped off the meet with a massive jump in the triple jump, soaring 12.03 meters to rank second all-time and take hold of the national lead. She also won the 100-meter dash (12.40 seconds) earlier in the day and helped the Duhawks take the first two spots as Edwards added a second-place finish on her heels (12.49). Pfadenhauer added another one-two finish for the Duhawks in the 200-meter dash, winning the race with a time of 25.96 with Lambe in second with a time of 26.09. Kaylee Osterberger and
Ellie Osterberger finished first and second in the 800-meter dash with K. Osterberger winning the race in 2:21.54 and E. Osterberger finishing second (2:23.99) while
Kassie Rosenbum posted a second-place finish in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:41.16, clocking the third-fastest time in Division III.
Elayna Bahl swept the hurdle events, winning the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.97 seconds and posting the fifth-fastest time in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.26.
Bailey Vance finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.90 seconds. She currently sits seventh nationally in the 100-meter hurdles and second in the 400-meter hurdles.
Grace Alley had a strong performance in the triple jump as well, jumping the fifth-farthest jump in program history (11.47 meters) and ranks fifth nationally. In the throws,
Michelle Budden added another top-ten mark as she won the hammer throw with the ninth-farthest toss in program history (48.62 meters).
The Duhawks will head to Wartburg College on Saturday, Apr. 10 to compete at the Wartburg Outdoor Select meet. Field events begin at 11 A.M. in Waverly and running events kick off at noon.
