WAVERLY, Iowa (Mar. 5, 2022) – A week away from the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championship, the No. 1 Loras College women's track and field team closed out the regular season with multiple program top-ten marks at a pair of last chance qualifier meets on the weekend, sending a cohort of throwers to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on Friday and racing a second group at Wartburg College on Saturday.

At UW-Platteville, Taylor Flaig moved herself up higher on Loras' all-time list, throwing 16.37 meters in the weight throw to move into seventh all-time in the event. At Wartburg, Elayna Bahl opened the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a run of 8.81 seconds to tie her school record and set a new facility record and Grace Alley tied her lifetime-best in the event, running 9.41. Bahl also ran 25.75 in the 200-meter dash, moving into No. 6 on the all-time list. Harmony Creasy added a third-place finish in the long jump, leaping 5.41 meters to come in just under her all-time best. She then teamed up with Marion Edwards, Merryl Green and Alyssa Pfadenhauer in the 4-by-400-meter relay, running 3:51.66 to place third and post the third-fastest time in program history.

The Duhawks, looking to bring home their third-straight and first-ever indoor national title, wrap up the indoor campaign in Winston Salem, N.C. on Mar. 11-12 at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championship. The official national championship field of the top-20 individuals and top-12 relays will be released on Sunday, Mar. 6.
