DECORAH, Iowa (Apr. 21, 2022) – Gearing up for a busy stretch of four matches in the next week, the Loras College men's tennis team started its close to the 2022 regular season at Luther College on Thursday but dropped the match to the defending American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) champions, 8-1.

The Norse swept the doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead and continued the momentum into singles play, locking up the match with five wins. Eian Coad secured a hard-fought victory to put the Duhawks on the scorecard at the No. 6 position, rallying back from a 4-6 loss to Charlie Weill in the first set to take the second 7-6 and win the tiebreaker, 10-6.

The Duhawks host a pair of A-R-C matches on Saturday, starting with Central College at 10:00 A.M. at the Tucker Tennis Courts and taking on Simpson College to follow at 2:00 P.M.
