GALENA, Ill. (Sept. 1, 2022) – Competing in their first collegiate golf tournament, the Loras College women's golf team turned in a fourth-place finish at the Clarke University Fall Invite on Thursday, led by a top-ten finish for
Gabrielle Langlois at the North Course at Eagle Ridge Resort.
Langlois opened her collegiate career with a 91 to place sixth overall, followed by
Jenna Bistline with a 108 to take 19th.
Brianna Baron shot a 109 on the day to tie for 20th and
Rachel Fosler scored a 127 in her first collegiate outing, taking 28th.
Augustana College's A and B squads took the top-two spots with teams scores of 327 and 387, respectively while Marian University took third with a score of 410. The Duhawks finished fourth with a score of 435 and the host Pride scored a 487 to take fifth.
The Duhawks' next tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Norse/Kohawk Invitational at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Dike, Iowa.
