Sept. 13, 2022 – Matching up against the defending American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) champions, the Loras College women's tennis team (2-3, 0-2 A-R-C) dropped a 9-0 decision to Luther College (4-0, 2-0 A-R-C) on Tuesday at the Tucker Tennis Courts.

The Duhawks battled the Norse in doubles action and saw a valiant effort at No. 3 doubles by Caroline Hutchinson and Leia Papanicholas against Emily Rubbelke and Kylie Dunning but fell 8-4. In singles play, Isabel Schwabe made a push in the second set to force Renata Martinez to the tiebreaker at the No. 1 spot but Martinez held out for a 6-1, 7-6 win.

The Duhawks take a brief break from conference play on Saturday, Sept. 17, playing Greenville University and Webster University in a double-header at Greenville. Matches begin at 9 A.M.
