PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The Loras College women's volleyball team suffered a setback on the road at Lakeland University, falling 0-3 on Friday night inside Woltzen Gymnasium.
Lakeland (15-11 overall, 9-4 NACC) swept the Duhawks by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-23.
Susana Stevens paced the Muskies' offense with 12 kills. Brelynn Scoles followed closely behind with 11 kills and 10 digs, while Katie Metzler and Kelly Swope added in eight kills apiece in the win. As a team, Lakeland hit .369, finishing with 47 kills and nine errors in 103 attempts.
Loras (12-16 overall, 3-5 A-R-C) was led by
Elaina Schroeder and
Cat Meyer who each put down eight kills.
Sara Hoskins dished out 30 assists, while
Jenna Bistline totaled a game-high 13 digs. The Duhawks hit .174 as a team, which featured 36 kills and 16 errors in 115 attempts.
