Women’s Volleyball Adds Redman to 2023 Staff

June 9, 2023

June 9, 2023 – Loras College women's volleyball head coach Kristy Duncan has added Grace Redman to her staff ahead of the upcoming 2023 season. Redman comes to Loras after spending three seasons as an assistant coach for the men's volleyball program at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Redman started her career in Bloomington, Ill. as a graduate assistant coach in 2020 ahead of the 2021 spring season, which marked the first season of competition for the Titans' program. She served as a graduate assistant for two years and was elevated to a full-time assistant role for the 2023 season. The Titans' record has improved every season since their opening campaign, which includes an 11-14 mark in 2023.

During her time in Bloomington, Redman also worked as a strength and conditioning coach for multiple IWU programs. She created and implemented workouts specifically designed to improve athletic performance for women's volleyball, men's volleyball, women's lacrosse, and softball.

Before getting started in college coaching, Redman was the head volleyball coach for Horseshoe Volleyball Club, where she coached girls volleyball players between the ages of 13 and 18. She also served as an assistant coach for the Tyrone Area School District, near State College, Penn., coaching middle school and high school volleyball.

Redman is a 2019 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a degree in Kinesiology: Movement Science. She earned a master's degree in Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity from Illinois State University in 2022.
