DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's soccer team topped Concordia College (Minn.), 1-0, to earn its second win of the weekend in the Rock Bowl on Saturday afternoon.
Savannah Johnson found the back of the net at the 3:39 mark off of a pass from
Julia Neary to score the sole goal of the contest.
Loras (2-0) totaled 22 shots, which included nine on goal, while the Duhawk defense allowed the Cobbers just two shots on goal.
Kyndal Kells collected two saves in goal to earn the win.
Up next: The Duhawks head north to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for a midweek matchup against the Warhawks on Wednesday Sept. 6 at 5:00 p.m.
