DUBUQUE, Iowa – An equalizing goal in the final minutes by Saint John's University resulted in a 1-1 draw for the Loras College men's soccer team on Saturday night at the Rock Bowl.
Loras (3-0-2 overall) came out strong in the game, scoring the game's first goal at the 15-minutes mark when
Alex Beausoleil netted his third of the season off an assist from
Cole Bridson. The two teams were equally dominate over the first half, with each team firing off seven shots.
The second half saw Saint John's University (3-1-1) be the aggressor, firing off 13 second-half shots compared to three for the Duhawks.
Owen Johnson secured three saves in the second half and helped keep the Johnnies off the board, but a mishap with five minutes to go led to a SJU goal, leveling things out at 1-1.

- The teams were deadlocked in on corner kicks (4-4) and fouls (8-8).
