CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Loras College men's soccer team defeated Coe College, 3-1, Saturday night at Clark Field. 
 
Bryan Basinger scored his seventh goal of the season 11 minutes into the contest. 11 minutes later at the 22:24-minute mark, Dani Galiana Torres gave the Purple and Gold a 2-0 lead thanks to a combined assist by Basinger and Townes Robertson. Galiana Torres netted his second goal of the game after taking advantage of a penalty kick opportunity at the 31:38-minute mark.
 
Coe (6-10-1 overall, 2-5-0 A-R-C) scored its lone goal in the final minutes of the first half thanks to Isaiah Jackel. 
 
Loras (8-4-7, 4-1-2) was outshot by the Kohawks 8-7, but won the shots on goal battle 6-4.
 
Ben Krogman tallied three saves for the Duhawks in 90 minutes of action. 

Up Next: Loras will conclude A-R-C play as they host Central College on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM inside the Rock Bowl.
