Box Score LINCOLN, Neb. – The Loras College women's tennis team came up short, 4-3, against the Prairie Wolves Saturday morning at the LSF Sports Complex.

This match was the third of the weekend for Loras (5-8, 3-5 A-R-C) after a loss at Northwestern College and a win over A-R-C competitor Buena Vista.
In doubles play, in the No. 1 spot
Mary Breitbach and
Dorothy Deans defeated Addi Duranski and Anna Burt by a score of 6-3. At the No. 3 spot
Alexis Tatum and
Caroline Hutchinson defeated Ella Ford and Gracey Smith by a score of 6-3. The Duhawks went into singles play with a 1-0 lead.
In singles, both Deans and Breitbach carried the winning momentum over from doubles as they both won their respective matches. At No. 1 singles, Breitbach defeated Crystal Craft 6-1 in both matches, while Deans took down Ella Ford 7-5 in both matches.
The Purple and Gold would then fall in the remainder of the singles matches, only securing three points on the day.
