NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second week in a row, two Loras College men's volleyball players have been named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Student-Athletes of the Week.

Joe Horn earned Setter of the Week honors for the first time this season and the fifth time in his career following a pair of Duhawk victories last week. Horn dished out a total of 57 assists (11.4/set), which included 38 in Loras' first ever sweep of the Dominican University Stars. The Oak Lawn, Ill. native currently leads the conference in assists, averaging 10.06/set.

Corey Mayotte received back-to-back Hitter of the Week selections, in addition to garnering a spot on the FrogJump Team of the Week and being named the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Division III Player of the Week. Mayotte is just the second Loras player in program history to be recognized as the National Player of the Week, with Grant Ooms receiving the first honor back in March 2019. This past week, the Geneva, Ill. native totaled 28 kills (5.6/set), averaging a 0.576 hitting percentage. Mayotte sits atop the statistical leaderboard in the CCIW in both kills with 4.35/set (74 total) and in points with 5.00/set (85 total). 

The Duhawks welcome No. 19 Benedictine University to Lillis Court on Saturday, Feb. 10. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
