KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Loras College men's basketball senior
Ali Sabet has been selected to compete at the 2024 NABC – Reese's Division III College All-Star Game, the NABC announced today.
The Division III All-Star Game, held in conjunction with the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship, features the top senior talent across Division III. Rosters include representation from each Division III region.
The All-Star game will be held Saturday, March 16 at 12:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. CT at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. Former Wooster coach Steve Moore and former Marymount and Frostburg State coach Webb Hatch will serve as coaches for the two Division III All-Star teams.
Sabet finished the 2023-24 campaign as Loras' leading scorer at 18.6 points per game. The senior out of Glenview, Ill. notched double figures in 26 games, consistently scoring at all three levels. He led the team and American Rivers Conference in made three-point field goals per game at 3.1 and was second in the A-R-C in total scoring at 557 points.
Sabet tallied 1,405 points, 269 rebounds, 235 assists, and 211 3-pointers throughout his career at Loras. His field goal and three-point field goal percentages both took leaps this year to career best marks. In the three years Sabet played for the Purple and Gold, he made an immediate impact on the program, playing 85 games and making 84 career starts.
