DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's tennis team achieved a 5-2 victory over the University of Dubuque on Tuesday afternoon at the Frank Farber Tennis Courts.
In the doubles matches,
Mary Breitbach and
Dorothy Deans secured a 6-2 win over Sarah Wilde and Jayda Floyd at the No. 1 spot, while
Ellie Kalina and
Alexis Tatum also emerged victorious in the No. 3 position with a 6-4 win over Breann Kieliszweki and Kadia Cole.
In singles play, Breitbach claimed a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory over Wilde at the No. 1 spot, while
Caroline Hutchinson exhibited a strong performance at No. 4 singles, defeating Kieliszweski by scores of 6-3, 6-1. Additionally, Kalina dominated Floyd in the No. 5 spot posting scores of 6-2, 6-2, while Tatum sealed the win for the Duhawks by defeating Cole 6-3, 6-2.
