DECATUR, Ill. – The Loras College women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the Dechert Classic, hosted by Millikin University over the weekend.
Leading the way for the Duhawks was
Jenna Bistline, who finished fourth individually. Bistline fired an 84 (+12) in round one, before shooting a 81 (+9) in round two.
Julia Busch finished in a tie for 23
rd after shooting rounds of 94 (+22) and 87 (+15) for a tournament total of 181 (+37).
Right behind Busch in the standings was
Elish Flynn, who placed 25
th. Flynn shot 91 (+19) both days, finishing +38 for the tournament.
Kathleen Looney shot a two-day total of 206, firing rounds of 97 (+25) and 109 (+37) to tie for 45
th place. Rounding out the Loras lineup was
Ellen Pechan who finished 47
th in the tournament. Pechan shot rounds of 100 (+28) and 110 (+38) for a 210 (+66) tournament total.
