WHEATON, Ill. – The Loras College men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Wheaton College Friday evening at Joe Bean Stadium.

Wheaton (1-1-0) opened the scoring at the 15:13 minute mark when Pryse Anderson found the back of the net off an assist from Kyle Johnson. At 44:15, Sam Grotelueschen netted the second goal of the contest for the Thunder to give the home team a 2-0 advantage at the half.
The Purple and Gold were unable to generate much offensive success against the Thunder defense. In the second half, Wheaton capitalized on two more chances, which solidified the 4-0 victory for the Orange and Blue.
Loras (2-1-0) totaled 10 shot attempts, four of which were on goal, while splitting corner kicks at four apiece with the Thunder but were unable to convert any attempt into a goal.
