DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Loras College women's track and field team competed at the Bumble Rumble hosted by St. Ambrose University on Saturday.
The Duhawks earned five first-place finishes in the 60-meter dash, high jump, long jump, triple jump, and weight throw.
Emma Seipel took home three event titles for the Purple and Gold.
Seipel finished first in the 60-meter dash clocking in a time of 7.67, in addition to placing first in the long jump and triple jump with distances of 5.76 meters and 11.40 meters respectively.
Sara Hoskins added to the winning ways for the Duhawks as she earned first place in the high jump with a score of 1.65 meters, just ahead of teammate
Julia Klein who finished at 1.60 meters.
Rounding out the top finishers for the women came by of
Caitlyn Cox in the weight throw. Cox claimed first with a 19.05-meter throw.
Up Next: The Duhawks travel to Monmouth, Ill. on Saturday, Jan. 24 to compete at the Fighting Scots Invite hosted by Monmouth College.
