WAVERLY, Iowa - The Loras College men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Wartburg College on Saturday evening at Salzwedel Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Knights found the breakthrough in the 61st minute when Lwings Kabula netted the game's lone goal off an assist from Kaleab Wendy. Despite outshooting Wartburg 5-4 in the second half and earning six corner kicks after the break, the Duhawks were unable to find an equalizer.

Loras (9-1-5, 3-1-2 A-R-C) put one shot on goal from junior defender Zack Liddell, while goalkeeper Alexander Drexler tallied two saves in the effort.

Up Next: The Duhawks will look to bounce back at home on Wednesday, Oct. 22, when they host the University of Dubuque at the Rock Bowl. Action is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
