KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five Loras College soccer players from the men's and women's programs have been named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region IX Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

On the women's side, Sierra Morgano, Belle Johnson, Emerson Gasmann, and Hannah Fedinec each earned All-Region honors for the first time in their careers. Morgano was selected to the first team, Johnson and Gasmann earned second-team recognition, and Fedinec was named to the third team.

Morgano wrapped up her senior season as the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Defensive Most Valuable Player, an A-R-C All-Conference honoree, and a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection. She anchored a back line that posted 16 shutouts and recorded a goals-against average of 0.316. Morgano started all 19 matches and added one assist.

Johnson, also a senior, closed her career with seven goals including two game-winners and four assists for 18 points. She started all 19 matches and earned A-R-C All-Conference honors.

Gasmann led the Duhawks offensively, pacing the team with nine goals and eight assists for 26 points, including two game-winners. The sophomore was also an A-R-C All-Conference selection.

Fedinec backstopped a defense that held 16 of 19 opponents scoreless and led the A-R-C in goals-against average (0.35), save percentage (.875), and shutouts per match. She earned A-R-C All-Conference, A-R-C All-Academic, and CSC Academic All-District honors.

On the men's side, Dani Galiana Torres was the lone Duhawk recognized, earning a spot on the third team. The senior concluded his career leading Loras with 13 goals and three assists for 29 points and topped the A-R-C in both goals and points. He also earned A-R-C All-Academic, CSC Academic All-District, and A-R-C All-Conference honors.
