December 4, 2025

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sierra Morgano of the Loras College women's soccer team was named a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Fourth Team All-American, as announced by the organization Thursday.

A senior defender, Morgano was a pivotal piece of the Duhawks' back line. She started every match this season and ranked second on the team in minutes played with 1,621. She closed her final campaign earning an American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Defensive Player of the Week honor and tallied one assist. Morgano anchored a defensive unit that recorded 16 shutouts in 19 matches and ranked fifth nationally with a 0.316 goals-against average. In conference play, she helped limit opponents to just 0.33 goals per game and only six goals allowed all season.

The Sussex, Wis., native earned one of the A-R-C's highest honors as the Defensive Most Valuable Player. She also collected All-Conference and A-R-C All-Academic Team recognition and was named to the USC All-Region IX First Team, along with earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.

Loras concluded the season with a 15-2-2 overall record and a 6-1-1 mark in conference action. The Duhawks captured their fifth consecutive A-R-C Tournament title and advanced to the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, marking their eighth straight postseason appearance.

This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the USC All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan.17, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the USC Convention.
