NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Loras College men's volleyball outside hitter, Corey Mayotte, and setter, Evan Dziadkowiec, were both named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Athletes of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday.

Mayotte was tabbed as the conference Hitter of the Week for the second consecutive week after putting up impressive numbers in a pair of Duhawk sweeps last week. The Geneva, Ill. native totaled 34 kills, averaging 5.6 kills/set, while also hitting .468 across both contests.  He added five service aces, 14 digs and six blocks to his stat line as well.

Dziadkowiec earned CCIW Setter of the Week honors for the first time in his career following his performances last Friday and Saturday against Concordia Wisconsin and Benedictine. The newcomer from Lockport, Ill. dished out 67 total assists, averaging 11.16 assists/set. He filled out his stat line with 15 digs and six blocks between both contests.

The Purple and Gold travel to Fond du Lac, Wis. to face off against the Marian University Sabres on Feb. 13. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Sadoff Gymnasium.
