WAVERLY, Iowa – The Loras College men's track and field team took part in the Friday Knight Lights meet hosted by Wartburg College on Friday at Hoover Fieldhouse.
Claiming the sole event for the men came by way of Davyion Foreman in the 60-meter dash where he clocked a time of 6.84 seconds which currently ranks No. 9 in all of Division III and is a new personal record.
Despite only having one event winner, the Duhawks still had a successful outing.
DreAnthony Jackson threw 17.01 meters in the weight throw which now puts him eighth all-time in Loras College Track and Field history.
Eli Pflipsen and
Elliot Frideres also solidified their names into program history after their performances in the weight throw and 800m. Pflipsen moves to 10
th all-time in the weight throw with a distance of 16.73 meters and Frideres moves to 10
th all-time and 11
th nationally in the 800m with a time of 1:54.16.
Alex Wilson and
Paul Rasp concluded the top performances for the Duhawks as both earned new personal records in pole vault. Wilson finished with a distance of 4.40 meters while Rasp secured a distance of 3.80 meters.
Up Next: The Purple and Gold will split the squad next weekend on Saturday, Feb. 5 with some traveling to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and others traveling to UW-Platteville.
