WAVERLY, Iowa - The Loras College women's track and field team secured its fourth consecutive American Rivers Conference Indoor Championship, defeating host Wartburg College inside Hoover Fieldhouse.
The Duhawks, ranked No. 7 nationally, clinched the title with 195.50 points, narrowly defeating No. 12 Wartburg by four points. The team earned All-Conference honors in 13 events, including three relay teams and five individual champions.
For their leadership in guiding the program to another conference title, Loras' coaching staff of Matt Jones, Ethan Adlfinger, Ray Venditti, Hope Koerperich, Marin McClowry, Ellie Osterberger, and Bob Schultz were named the American Rivers Conference Women's Track and Field Coaching Staff of the Year. It marks the eighth time Jones and his staff have received the honor across both the men's and women's programs.
