KENOSHA, Wis. – The No. 13 Loras College men's volleyball team was swept by the fourth-ranked Carthage College Firebirds on Saturday afternoon inside Tarble Arena.
The Duhawks fell in straight sets to Carthage (17-3, 6-1 CCIW) by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-19.
Corey Mayotte paced the Loras (13-4, 4-2) offense, putting down 10 kills.
Evan Dziadkowiec dished out 20 assists, while
Nolan Krygsheld and Dziadkowiec totaled six digs apiece. As a team, the Duhawks hit .106, finishing with 29 kills and 19 errors in 94 attempts.
Owen Otto and Owen Hendricks led the way for the Firebirds with 11 and 10 kills respectively. Ryan Morey handed out 32 assists, while Zack Noland registered a match-high 13 digs. Carthage hit .381 as a team, which included 40 kills and eight errors in 84 attempts.
